Very tall Lime (Tilia x europaea)

Following an independent tree survey, a regular client of ours asked us to carry out the works to spec as provided by the Arboriculturalist. We lodged intent with the local council, in the case Canterbury and gained no objections.

The photo of the tree show us part way through the reduction (don’t worry we do not leave trees looking like this!), you can clearly see were Joe (Climbing Arborist) has been (over the house) and where he is yet to go. The specification was to carry out a reduction of leaf mass of no more than 30%. Such was the height of the tree we used comms between ground members (Phil & Chester) and Joe

During this job, it was noted in the crown there was an old cable brace that had failed, naturally we made out client aware of this and made suggestions on a route to take going forward.

Apparently the views from the top of this tree of Canterbury were spectacular.
